- 6 figs fresh
- 2 bananas fresh or frozen
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Wash the fresh figs and remove the stems.
Add figs, bananas, almond milk, and vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Here are some of my tips and substitutions I make often at my home:
- If fresh figs aren't available, soak 4–5 dried figs in warm water for 15–20 minutes and use them as an alternative.
- For extra richness or protein, add one tablespoon of almond butter or your favorite protein powder.
- You can also replace almond milk with oat milk or cashew milk.
- Frozen banana will make the smoothie creamy and thick.
