Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe mango chunks Both fresh and frozen will work
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ cup milk dairy or any plant-based milk
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • teaspoon saffron strands a pinch for aroma and color

Instructions

  • Add to Blender: Combine mango chunks, yogurt, milk, honey, cardamom powder, and saffron in a blender.
  • Blend Until Creamy: Blend at high speed until it is completely smooth. Scrape the sides if needed.
  • Adjust Texture: Add more milk to thin it or a few ice cubes/frozen mango to make it thicker.
  • Taste and Adjust: Add a bit more maple syrup or honey if your mango isn't sweet enough.
  • Serve Chilled: Pour into a glass and enjoy right away. Garnish with saffron strands or a sprinkle of cardamom if you like.

Notes

  • Use sweet mangoes like Alphonso or Kesar for the best flavor.
  • Add more milk to thin or ice/frozen mango to thicken.
